NEIGHBORHOOD
We love our neighborhood. It is a
bedroom community of people from all walks of life. We have several
teachers and students, a Doctoral student in Human Development and Family
Sciences, builders and even a Buddhist monk. Everyone that bought
out here built a unique home of their own or moved a home here from Austin . . . . From a large home similar to
our home next door to our custom built home and lots in-between.
Most of the homes are custom built and the area looks quite lovely when driving through.
Many of the neighbors located homes in classic Austin neighborhoods and
had them moved here.
One neighbor has an organic
veggie garden and produces gorgeous fresh produce.
I'll also mention that we only have one neighbor living next to the land
and she's a terrific neighbor.
It is very quiet out here. There are no industries
or noise-making activities of any type for miles. Our little community
at Cedar Creek is a close-in oasis isolated from the city's hub-bub.
We like it that way.
