St. Pete, Florida 99'

We went to visit my parents- who were visiting their friend Evelyn Rodriquez in St. Pete. Evelyn has a lovely home on the bay...10 feet from the bay. Her front yard is full of citrus trees, from which we picked each morning's juice. Evelyn was a professional ballroom dancer with her husband Jose...Stage named.."Cabot and Dresden". He passed on a year ago. Her house is full of fantastic artifacts from a lifetime of performing. I went through her autograph book and found Durante, D' Mills, Hope, Marx, Costello, E.G. Robinson, Rooseveldt, G. Burns and lots of others. They went to France during WWII and Korea in 52'...building their own stages and traveled in fatigues.
