Arles

A short train ride from Avignon, Arles is the site of a fully in tact Roman arena. It is used today for bull fights. We went to the open air market and found some heavenly olives in basil and garlic. As usual, in all the smaller towns, Old men were playing "Booles"...lawn bowling.
