The InternationalConflicts conference on the Spring is dedicated to discussing and documenting all kinds of international conflicts. This could be border disputes, wars, civil wars, oppression, ethnic disputes, religious disputes, political prosecution, trade wars, social conflicts...
It is meant as a tool to report things people witnessed or heard about, read in the news, etc., and to make the international community aware of conflicts that dropped out of the media's immediate focus.
Further topics will also feature new services to this conferences guests.
Please use this topic to introduce yourself.

Is there any chance of setting up some kind of link to this conference, preferably with a shorter name? Typing
internationalconflicts every time I want to come here could become kind of annoying :-)

one way would be to create some kind of "ghost" conference, where all the topics are linked in to. then, you could have the "world-facing" long-name version and the "spring-expert" short-name version :)

Perhaps in
http://www.spring.net/yapp-bin/restricted/browse/web/all
or
http://www.spring.net/yapp-bin/restricted/browse/apps/all
or
http://www.spring.net/yapp-bin/restricted/browse/internet/all
or at
http://www.spring.net/yapp-bin/restricted/browse/homepage/all ?
Anyway, be shure to come back to this conference, and tell us what you think of current events! Have you ever been on the Spring before, or are you a regular and we didn't meet yet?

I put a link to Serbian radio B92 in Belgrad on the headr of this Conference. This is the opposition, who - first thing after attacks started - went off the line. Internet-transmissions were stopped by government, too.
Very interesting website!
