Madonna, Britney Spears and Christina Aguiluera finally get a topic
together in honor of their "kiss" on the MTV Music Awards. What a number
that was. Madonna, the groom, coming out of the wedding cake and dancing
it up with brides Christina and Britney.

Not everyone was dazzled by *the kiss* writes one Brit:
In snogging them both, she confuses matters. Britney and Christina, when
they were on the way up seven or eight years ago, were rivals.
Now they have both been superseded by Beyonce Knowles. So they are
vulnerable to getting involved in this sort of silliness - but too foolish
to hold out for exclusivity. Madonna got her headlines.
I worry for her, however. Seldom is the contrived public snog a prelude to
good times. Remember Piers Merchant? The unappealing Tory MP, caught bang
to rights, attempted to brazen it out by allowing himself to be
photographed apparently fishing a bit of food out of Mrs Merchant's
dentures with his tongue.

So last night, how'd you think Britney celebrated her big performance and
her return to the spotlight? Where else, an after party! She went and
partyed at the Maverick VMA After Party at the Four Seasons Restaurant in
NYC with other celebrities including one of her perfomance partner,
Christina Aguilera who wore a racy button on her jacket that said "I
f'cked Britney Spears". Interesting...but none the less, quite funny!
"Christina And Justin Comment On Britney"
Tonight on Access Hollywood they interviewed Christina and
Justin who both had something to say about Britney and last night.
Christina said that both Britney and her practiced kissing Madonna at
rehearsal and Christina was comfortable with it but Britney was not.
Madonna had to keep on saying: kiss me, Britney kiss me. Christina was
then asked if she thought Britney needed to loosen up? Christina said
"yeah but I think she needs to loosen up in general". That's harsh
especially coming from someone who just performed with her and had a
performance of a lifetime.
Justin said he was not shocked by the performance and that he liked it, he
said it was sexy and he wont take that away from anyone up there. Justin
also said the cameras were right there and as soon as Madonna and Britney
kissed they just went in his face and that is the reason why he had a
weird facial expression.

Madonna, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera set the bar sky high for
all of the performers at this year's MTV Video Music Awards.
Anyone who's ever questioned Britney or Madonna's acting abilities should
reconsider. Not only did the ladies show off some blood-pressure-raising
moves, their kisses were nothing like the infamous mouth mush between
Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley and far more like something from
late-night Cinemax.
Their opening number began with Spears emerging from an enormous white
cake in a wedding dress and veil. After Britney sang several verses from
"Like a Virgin," Aguilera came out and picked up the vocals for what was
the pair's first performance together since the Mickey Mouse Club. But
this was no kid's stuff. Within moments they were writhing on the ground
with their legs spread.
Then Madonna descended from the cake, dressed in black and singing
"Hollywood" Dancing provocatively with her two protégés, she planted a
sexy smooch on Britney's mouth, then turned and delivered one to
Christina. It was such a performance-defining moment, it's easy to forget
that Missy Elliott came out and sang the chorus from "Work It" before it
was all over.

Britney Spears appeared center stage in a wedding dress and sang the first
verse of Madonna's "Like a Virgin" like a pro. Then Christina Aguilera
showed up, raven-haired, but also in wedding gear, to give power and range
to the chorus. The girls half-heartedly danced a duet tribute to Madonna's
1984 bridal writhe. And at last Madonna herself emerged, wearing
thigh-high vinyl boots, a top hat, and tails. She sang a little, in her
usual Rex Harrison bark-it-out way.
But the trio did have a surprise in store. Madonna had come as the man—the
sugar daddy, maybe, twirling the little girls, keeping them in line, and
finally kissing Spears. She also kissed Aguilera, to be fair, but the
camera barely registered it, and we all know that Madonna has long leered
at Britney. Britney swooned into the kiss, her mouth soft.
The small thrill of this kiss was real to me because, though girls making
out with girls is an old party stunt, this time it came off as female
lechery: overmuscled, rich, landed matriarch Madonna (in tails, no less)
preying on sweetie Spears, who (in wedding white) hasn't even had a first
marriage yet. "Hollywood," Madonna cooed as she brushed hair tenderly from
Britney's face. "How could it hurt you when it looks so good?" I expect
we'll see this wise-woman/callow-girl romance around more now. Britney and
Madonna certainly recalled the matchup in Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle
of smiley Cameron Diaz with shrewd Demi Moore, another pure protein icon
of perimenopause.

um, the media spent waaaay too much time covering this stunt and only showing brit and madonna. seems they forgot christina was up there too.
