Where is John when we need him - he has all sorts of good stuff from sports. I just collect him! *grin* Most of what I have now is from various UHHilo Vulcan teams. Important to local folks but nothing to the greater world outside of Hilo.

Oh..I forgot to enumerate. I have a signed softball and two signed baseballs. Loads of Penn State stuff, of course...pennants, mascot miniatures, a Barbie in cheerleader outfit...a teddy bear which plays "Fight on State"...lotsa stuff.

I used to have a baseball signed by all of the New York Giants Baseball team when they played at the Polo Grounds. My mom threw it away while I was in college...*sigh* It was Willie Mays' rookie year, too...*bigger sigh*

no, the team captains didn't sign them, i meant to say from our very own minor league team, the shreveport captains. i put the balls away and haven't a clue who signed them! maybe i'll be pleasantly surprised one day *grin*

Wow!!! You have a REAL beseball with REAL players' signatures on them!!! Hang on to'um...some of those players could be famous one day and you will have a real treasure!

House Male is related to Honus Wagner, but we do not have a baseball card for him...unfortunately. Anything Michael Jordan can only appreciate. Our Athletic Director at UHHilo has a signed Jersey of Jordan's hanging framed on his office wall!
