I thought Austin still had that no-smoking rule in restaurants.

Doesn't seem to be in effect at Rutas, they have a big cigarette/cigar
store on the premises.

oh.
Boulder, CO is completely smoke-free. Only outside, if you can stand the public heat, can you smoke.

All Maryland restaurants are smoke free (but not bars).

So restaurants with full bars are exempt?

So long as either the bar or the designated smoking area of the adjacent restaurant is completely cut off from the rest of the restaurant. We're talking about a glass wall in most cases, not some cheesy partition. Not one iota of smoke can penetrate the main dining area. (But I can still look thru the glass and get a vicarious thrill!)

LOL!
Can't really comprehend the attraction to smoking but if the withdrawl is anything analogous to forsaking caffeine... I'm with ya!

Locally, it's Ruta Maya, but that's really a coffee house.

And there's this place down on Lamar across from Whole Foods, 'has to be the smokiest place in town, even the cooks and wait people smoke on the job. I avoid the place since my one smoke filled visit there.

Louisville is considering banning smoking in public places. My friend smokes which would mean we would never go anywhere. I wonder what smokers are supposed to do... No, I do not smoke. Never have, for that matter. NOTHING (which seems to amaze some people.)
