It's a great place to eat out, especially their
broccoli rice casserole, but don't take your American
Express card. And watch out for Janis Joplins ghost.

Aww. I got the warm fuzzies going on!
Sorry I was away for so long. After I was done fooling around on the California beaches, I had a new position to get used to. (Job, WER. The other positions aren't too difficult to adjust to!)

Well, Paul, the position you probably speak of is self contained ED (emotionally disturbed/disabled (blah blah!)) teacher. Eight boys with some pretty severe problems. They are all very angry, have been severely physically, sexually and mentally abused. A great bunch of kids with some strong aversion to authority and physical contact.
It's a challenge.

Hills (Bob Coles joint) is great for celebrating mayoral elections and meeting Kinky Friedman. Magnolia has awesome breakfasts. Z Tejas is impressive and a good place to take out of towners.
