I was doing my humble duty and hauling the trash out to the back of my
truck this morning, and I thought to myself, "Self, this is an excellent
metaphor for Sagittarius for this week." Now, what you need to remember
this week is to put a tarp over all that trash which is riding around in
the back of your truck. You might want to make a detour or two before you
get to the dump. And nothing is worse than having all your trash, the
stuff you were trying to throw away, get scattered all over the highway.
Worse, is finding it on the mythical Main Street. I just worry that my
garbage might wind up on Congress Avenue, here in town. So do a little
follow up on your trip to the dump, and make sure you don't scatter too
much trash before you get there. Some obnoxious person might find your
address and then it's a scene from a song, just like "Alice's Restaurant."
... and the grumpy sister down the road in Cedar Creek just called a few
days ago to complain about a pizza box in my trash. Jennifer denied it
and so did the rest of my room mates.

Does the term "flame" mean anything to you? I'm not talking about the term
"flame" as in searing heat of a BBQ lit flame. No, and I'm not talking
about the pejorative use of the term of "flaming" as in respect to a
person's apparent sexual orientation, either. Nope, the flame I'm talking
about is reserved for a virulent form of written communication, oftentimes
referred to as "flame mail." Flames get fanned into a roaring fires, and
often as not, over some stupid little idea. So this is a week to be
careful with that communication because I know you're right, you know
you're right, it's just that third party who seems to be a bit obdurate.

moving planet, and most Gemini's tend to be fast moving as well. Imagine a shopping cart with motorized wheels,
like a skateboard with an outboard motor on it. The Gemini will flit through the store, looking at everything, but
lingering no place in particular. GeminiÕs have some mighty strange eating habits. I knew Vegetarian Gemini once,
truly a macrobiotic "careful of what you eat, no animal products, nothing with a faceÓ type. What made this person
typically Gemini, was, in the heart of "nuts and fruits" (California), this particular Gemini would eat meat. Big, rare,
chunks of cow, obviously under done. Now, take this information and go to the grocery store with your Gemini friend.
They will look at everything. I mean, everything. Nothing is beyond their intellectual grasp.
Music: Gemini's have a strange penchant for the classics. Just about every Gemini I know has some classical music
in their collections. I wonder if they really have the attention span necessary to listen to a symphony all the way
through, or if they really listen to all that opera. However, this classical stuff will be intermingled with some
contemporary material as well. Something with a beat. Trying to narrow down a Gemini's sense of musical taste is a
little difficult. However, an upbeat flute solo, or "The flight of the Bumble Bee" really evokes what a Gemini might be
all about.
Walmart after midnight: One word -- exhausting. A Gemini is "hell-on-wheels" when it comes to going into the
super discount late night store. Nothing is safe. They will play with the toys in the children's department, they will take
a quick spin through the clothes, maybe try on some shoes, ask questions of the poor late staff people, and keep on
going. This place is less of a store and more of a playground. Of course, a Gemini frequently approaches life that
way.
Brick wall: Gemini is the original adaptable sign of the zodiac. They will tackle this brickwall with a certain zeal and
commitment to making sure that the goal is realized, that the wall is breached. However, in typical Gemini fashion, a
fixed obstacle that doesn't yield immediately to one of the 43 different efforts by the Gemini soon loses the Gemini's
attention. They get bored and wander off in search of other adventures. Of course, they did try more routes to get
around that wall than any other sign. One of us might pick up where the Gemini left off and find a good solution.
Bait: Gemini: Jointed Minnow -- Nothing works better on the Gemini than a super-long, jointed-minnow. It's pretty
much a top water lure, and the Gemini needs some flexibility. So a lure with some flexibility is needed to make the
Gemini happy. But unlike the plastic jobs which are way too "flexible," the jointed minnow lure is big enough to
present the Gemini with a challenge, and it offers enough rigidity that the Gemini will surely stay hooked.
Revenge: The easiest way to get revenge on a Gemini is to be boring. It drives a Gemini insane. Best of all, boring
for a Gemini can happen in three minutes or less.

You know, I've got to come up with some better musical allusions. I'm doing my best to stay
with the younger set. I can't keep make references to music which really shows my age. Or
movies that are long out dated and nothing more than a faded memory or a video cassette.
So I won't talk about Jaws, or the theme song. However, Venus, who was supposed to be
kind to you, has decided to take a minute vacation from her good ways, and stir up a little
trouble for you. It's not bad. Well, it's not too bad. She's just doing a retrograde thing which
means the romance thing needs to take a little bit of a breather right now. Of course, it's been
a weird summer for love, anyway. Styles from long ago have risen from the dead, and with
both Venus and Mercury in a tailspin, I would suggest that you have somebody who will
appear at your doorstep this week, looking like they still need to be buried again. Imagine a
week of "Night of the Living Dead."

that one fits! I do plan to do a little housework, differently and put some spice in my life and people do ask for advice. I look at horoscopes. however, where I look, they usually don't fit or are so vague to me.
I live in Chicago and I'm usually up at night. (my days and nights have gotten turned around, but I am trying to reset my clock.) Currently, I do freelance editing or that sort or stuffy -- and writing.

No, my son is. I would have been one but the math and I did not get along...so I married a University Professor and did research and editing for 25 years. It would help me to know if you are male or female...understanding your horoscope and all that. I have never had any use for them, actually.
