Sun, Apr 6, 1997 (16:31) | Paul Terry Walhus (terry)
Norway. 4 million folks. Norway's popular woman prime minister(?), Brundtland, left power about
six months ago. I remember seeing an impressive story about her enlightened govt. on 60 Minutes.
What happened? I talked to r henning on NetMeeting in Norway today. He's in Stavanger, the oil city of
Norway. According to r henning, Torbjorn Jaggland is prime minister now.

the the elderly population and the sick people, according to r henning, my source on NetMeeting today.

Terry, have you ever read Sigrid Undset's "Kristin Lavransdatter"? That is my all-time favorite book, and it really turned me on to Norway. Someday I'll make it there....

We're still planning the "big trip"--spending time in the Scottish Highlands, then taking the ferry from, say, Inverness to Bergen. The girls need to be a little older, though.
