"Now web surfers can post their own comments or criticism anywhere on the
Internet, without the permission of web site publishers", says the Forbes
article on http://www.thirdvoice.com.
And the author of this article, optimistically, goes on to say "There is
little doubt that the introduction of this software, also called Third
Voice, will change the way people use the web. "
The software allows you to annotate any web page and all other users of
the software have access to all the previous comments. Clever? Will it
change the way you use the web?
It might be fun during an election year to annotate some official
candidate sites, imagine the possibilities . . .

this means that if someone has this software, they can go into your website and post whatever they want?

They can annotate it to your website, it doesn't get posted directly to
your website. But others using this software visiting your website can
see the comments of others who have visited it.

I cheated. I "seeded" our website with some comments and tried to set a
postive tone, of course. I got the username terry, so good names are
available still.

Ok, some of this stuff I am just finding out about now. Is this something I *need* on my computer? I have checked PlanetClick and did the review as requested for them. I always do as I am told...I like to please...let me know about this program and if I need it, too.
